COUNTRY SPECIFIC INFORMATION

As foreseen by the D.L. 221 of 24/12/2021 and 229 of 30/12/2021 starting from 10 January 2022 and until the end of the epidemiological emergency currently established on 31 March 2022, access to means of transport on the whole Italian national territory is allowed only to passengers in possession of the certification called Green Pass Reinforced.

On all Italian domestic flights to/from the Italian Islands, it is compulsary to be in possession at least of the Green pass base.

This provision does not apply to subjects excluded by age from the vaccination campaign and to people exempt on the basis of suitable medical certification issued according to the criteria defined from the Ministry of Health.

Departure Flights: Self-certification is not necessary for domestic flights in Italy. Check all information published on the Italian Government website (https://www.governo.it/it/articolo/domande-frequenti-sulle-misure-adottate-dal-governo/15638) in order to receive more updated information.

Arrival Flights: Starting from 24 May 2021, all passengers wishing to enter Italy will be required to complete a dPLF before entering national territory, following the instructions below:

• go to the website EU Digital Passenger Locator Form (dPLF)
• follow the wizard to access the dPLF (C_17_pagineAree_5411_6_file.pdf)
• select ‘Italy’ as the destination country
• register on the website by creating a personal account with username and password (required only the first time you use the website)
• confirm the account via the link sent to the email address provided (required only the first time you use the website)
• complete and send the dPLF following the wizard.

Once the form has been sent, passengers receive the dPLF in PDF and as a QR Code at the email address entered during registration, which must be shown directly from a smartphone (in digital format) when boarding. Alternatively, passengers can print a copy of the dPLF to show when boarding.

The dPLF must be sent before boarding. The seat number assigned on the flight can however be edited at any time.

One form must be completed for each adult passenger; accompanied minors can be registered on the form of the accompanying adult.

In the case of unaccompanied minors, the dPLF must be completed by the parent or legal guardian before departure.

In exceptional cases, namely exclusively the lack of the required technology, passengers may complete a paper-based form.
