WHAT TO DO IN THESE CASES
Has your baggage been lost or damaged during the flight or boarding and/or disembarking operations? Don’t worry, we are here to give you all the necessary assistance and help you solve this unpleasant situation.
If you wish to report a case of lost, damaged, or mishandled luggage, please remember that it is essential to do so at the Lost and Found desk at your arrival airport and before leaving the lounge.
At the office, a PIR (Property Irregularity Report) will be opened for you, the reference of which will be needed during the resolution of your case.
The staff there will also take note of the address where you would like your suitcase sent in case it is lost, and will provide you with a contact to keep you informed about the progression of the issue.
Please remember that you must make the claim before leaving the arrivals lounge and confirm if there is any additional damage to your luggage with the airline staff, as once you leave the area, you will not be able to file a report of damage or mishandling, and the airline will be exempt from liability.
For your own benefit, keep all documentation related to the flight and the damaged suitcase, if applicable, until your claim has been duly addressed, as it will be required to manage the issue with your luggage.
